Overview of Jiangxi Province
Jiangxi Province, abbreviated as "Gan", is located in southeastern China, on the south bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and is known as the "Wu Tou Chu Wei, Yue Hu Min Ting". The total area of the province is 166900 square kilometers, with 11 prefecture level cities under its jurisdiction and a permanent population of 45.2798 million people (2022 data). In 2022, the total regional GDP of the province will reach 3.21 trillion yuan, ranking among the top in the country in terms of growth rate, and is accelerating the construction of inland open economic pilot zones.
Jiangxi Province currently governs 11 prefecture level cities including Nanchang (provincial capital), Jingdezhen, Pingxiang, Jiujiang, Xinyu, Yingtan, Ganzhou, Ji'an, Yichun, Fuzhou, and Shangrao. As an important agricultural product production base and non-ferrous metal industrial base in China, Jiangxi is known for its beautiful scenery and talented people. It is also the cradle of the Chinese revolution and the birthplace of the People's Army.

Jiangxi Province is located between 24 ¡ã 29 ¡ä -30 ¡ã 04 ¡ä N latitude and 113 ¡ã 34 ¡ä -118 ¡ã 28 ¡ä E longitude. It borders Zhejiang and Fujian to the east, Guangdong to the south, Hunan to the west, and Hubei and Anhui to the north. The province is surrounded by mountains on three sides, with the Poyang Lake Plain in the north, forming a basin terrain that opens to the Yangtze River.
